How do I get started using Forest AI?
To get started, click the Forest AI button in your navigation bar, or start a conversation following a search from the search results page.
Start with one of the suggested prompts to kick you off, or ask your own questions using the chat window.
Forest will pull information from existing content including Resources and Courses. Keep it open alongside you as you explore Forest, so it’s always there if you need instant advice and can be expanded at any time for a more focused conversation.
Personalise your experience
Open the chat menu and select Personalise to share relevant info about your role and business. Forest will use that information to tailor all future chat conversations to your unique situation.
This information is pre-filled from your Forest profile . If you edit the information here, it will not change your Forest profile.
We cite the source material so that you can trust and explore where your answers come from. You can click into source citations to see the expert who wrote the advice or explore the concept in more detail.
See your chat session history or start a new chat
Open the menu to pick up where you left off or revisit your most helpful conversations from your session history. You can remove or rename as you’d like, or start fresh with a new chat.
Can I continue with a previous chat instead of starting a new chat on the same topic?
Yes! You can always pick up where you left off with a previous conversation so that you don’t lose the context and conversation history. Just open the chat menu and find the previous session you’re interested in continuing.
How do AI features on Forest use my data?
Protecting our member’s data is a top priority at Forest. You get to decide what you share about yourself and we’ll never sell that information to third parties. We use OpenAI’s GPT-4 model to generate responses. Forest’s agreement with OpenAI provides that data is not to be used for model training. Data inputted into Forest AI features is sent to OpenAI for processing and generating AI outputs.
